Dear Mt. Healthy City School District Parents and Guardians,
Due to a rise in illnesses and the quarantines that are associated with COVID 19 cases, in-person instruction is becoming a challenge. On Friday, January 7, Mt. Healthy City School District will not have classes for students. On Monday, January 10 through Friday, January 21, the district will shift to remote learning. Students will return to the classrooms for in-person learning on Monday, January 24.
Students and parents/guardians will receive remote learning instructions from building principals and teachers. If you have technology needs from ANY of the buildings (Chromebooks, hotspots, or troubleshooting), please go to the Jr/Sr High School cafeteria during school hours. We understand the stress this places on parents during remote learning, and we appreciate your consideration as we work together to provide a safe learning environment for our students and staff.

Dear High School families,
Next week, December 13th-17th, is the last week of second quarter. All missing work will be due before break. Our schedule during the school day will be adjusted to allow time for students to work on assignments, but many will need to work outside of school as well. Please talk to your child about their grades and missing work. Staff has been reminding them all quarter, but often a reminder from home makes a bigger difference. Students need to bring their charged chrome book to school every day. Exams will be held December 20th-22nd and students will be released early on those days at 12:30. Please plan accordingly.

Early today shortly after arrival, a fight took place at the high school. The fight was broken up and students were asked to return to their classes. At that time, the high school building principals decided to have each teacher hold their students while the principals went to each class to discuss expectations. These lasted from 1st bell to the end of 3rd bell. The Jr High school decided to hold their students in place also.
As always, safety for all of our students is a high priority. It was during this time that a rumor surfaced that a gun was on campus. This was a false statement and at no time was a gun reported on the high school campus. To ensure that parents were aware of the incident, an All-Call was sent to all parents.
Parents of a high school student, if you did not receive an All-Call, please contact Principal Arnez Gray at 513-728-7655 to update your contact information to receive all future All-Call announcements. Parents of a jr high school student, if you did not receive an All-Call, please contact Principal Matt Morris at 513-619-8458 to update your contact information to receive all future All-Call announcements. It is important that we are able to provide you with up-to-date information.
Once again, we apologize for the inconvenience and/or miscommunication you may have received or heard.
