The safety of students and staff at Mt. Healthy City School District continues to be an area of focus for maintaining and improving safety systems/procedures that are currently in place. During this past week, MTCSD has conducted three safety sessions implementing A.L.I.C.E. Training over a five day period.
On Monday, Mt. Healthy administrators met with the Mt. Healthy Fire Department and the Mt. Healthy Police Department in a coordinated session to assess safety plans, procedures, and infrastructure. On Wednesday, staff and community members were invited to A.L.I.C.E. Training held at the Jr/Sr High School Auditorium conducted by the Springfield Township Police Department, the Mt. Healthy Police Department, Mt. Healthy Safety Supervisor Herb Dorsey, and keynote speaker Officer Rami Khayo. On Friday, Mt. Healthy Police and Fire Department participated in an array of simulated situations at the Jr/Sr. High School as part of their training.
